SL still have the same problem , samaraweera,silva , they havent score more than 100 in the tournament yet . if dilshan,mahela,sanga fall apart , then is the real problem occur .

In Canada, Kenya, Zimbabwe matches they came in a situation where big hitting was needed. In Pakistan match Silva did pretty well though even he couldn't grab the momentum earlier in his innings. Yes, Samare failed. And in Australia match Samare was going pretty well with Sanga. Silva didn't bat. But in New Zealand match they both failed. We scored only 60 odd runs in the last 9 or 10 overs. That concerned me. In Pakistan match we were 96/4 in 22 overs. But we managed to score 266 runs under lights at Premadasa. It's pretty much in balance I hope. But not as much as convincing as we would like. They say India have the best batting order. But we saw how their last 7 or 8 wickets fell in a cluster and nearly cost them games. There's concern yes.... But I don't think playing Silva and Samare will cost us. Hope for the best!

3 teams from Group A into semi finals and only 1 from B. Good indication of where the best teams were playing. Looking at current form it should be a Pakistan v Sri Lanka final, but the teams which plays best cricket on the day will reach the final.

What's with the Pakistan's obsession with Group A?? They keep bringing it up in every thread. After NewZealand defeated SA, no one can say which is the best team among these 4 teams. Any team can beat can turn out to be better than other on their day.
