Lord Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 Sree might go for 7-8 runs an over but will get you a wicket or 2. Munna on the other hand is not a prospect as a wicket taker. I think Zak and Sree will make a good pair for this game. The last thing we want is Zak building the pressure and Munna giving out lolly pop deliveries. Ashwin, bajji and Yuvi as spinners can keep it tight as well. My whole concern is more about "should yusuf play...and if so...who sits out"? will give u wickets?just because Sree goes for run n makes facial expressions,doesnt mean he'll always take wickets,he got spanked by even BD boys.

But there's not much difference between Sree/Nehra/Munaf. All three will go for runs and can't be relied upon to bowl wicket taking spells. We're completely reliant on our batting, Zaheer and Yuvraj bowling in this match. Maybe Ashwin can take a few wickets but I've stop expecting anything from Bhajji now or our 2nd/3rd seamers.

Even Yusuf Pathan has been sweating it out in the nets raising speculations that he might push R Ashwin hard for a spot in the team. Ashwin has been really good in the games he has played and has added some teeth to the attack while the nature of the patta track has made India think about bringing in Yusuf.
