There is no scope of any kind of mis-interpretation or mis-conception in this matter. Either Sanga won the first toss or he lost it. One of that has to be true. I think I should have used word "anyone", instead of "you" there.

The astounding thing is Jeff Crowe was AGAIN made match referee for 2011 WC final even after he screwed up 2007 WC final!!! WTF ICC? I mean accountability anyone? By the way Pringle also believes, similar to Boycott, that Sanga lost the toss and pulled a fast one on Dhoni and Crowe should have been smart enough to see it... This is what Pringle had to say... But the question is, would others have let this issue rest? Heck, it took one fake "racial abuse" complaint to ban a player, without even listening to the closest witness. Shouldn't we be making a statement by atleast reprimanding him?

vpg0002 Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 sanga always walks if he nicked the ball...care to point out one instance he stayed after he nicked..? he would not call tails & then claim that called heads.... i hope dhoni clears the dobuts on what exactly happened... anyways the better team won...we are dissapointed but not heart broken or shattered or anything...simply its not a shame to loose to the better team on the day....u deserved it so accept & celebrate the victory gracefully.... for a small nation where the population might be equal to the population of 2 of your big cities..we've done well to reach 3 world cup finals & a T20 world cup final..3 of r batsmen were top run scores of the tourney... another 100 in a world cup final by a graceful batsmen...almost everybody gave it their best but were bettered by a better team...so no regrets... As sri Lankans we are proud of our team, many of the performed & you can see it in the people here who came to the road to cheer the team bus when they came back to SL.. Enjoy your celebrations guys as we are enjoying ours over here..we are content Well said .. :hatsoff:

But he did not persist either and readily agreed for re-toss. And he has not made any fuss about it later on. So either Sanga is saint OR he cheated. There is no clinching evidence against his cheating - but circumstantial evidence is heavily against him. Can't wait for their autobiographies.
