They didnt want to worry about the safety about their families...That’s the Nonviolence the Philosophy of Great Mahatma Gandhi..the Philosophy of the King Dharma-Ashoka, The philosophy of Lord Buddha..So we have plenty of things to be proud on our selves.

ganeshran Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 LTTE were terrorists no doubt. But the SL government's attitude towards Tamils has also been deplorable. The current policies will only lead to more and more ghettoization, which Lanka should be ashamed of. That being said, its none of the business of Indian politicians to interfere in the internal matters of the Lankans. Sharing a common ethnicity doesnt give anyone them the right to encourage extremist elements in other countries. Is such concerns are there, they should be raised through diplomatic channels in private, not used as an jingoistic chest thumping slogan raised everytime election comes or government is in some sort of danger.
