Asoka Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 Afridi was the standout spinner in the WC and you call his perfomance mediocre.:hmmm:
vvvslaxman Posted April 4, 2011 Author Posted April 4, 2011 Afridi was the standout spinner in the WC and you call his perfomance mediocre.:hmmm: Actually i was compiling batting/bowling seperately.. then i took out bowling.. hence Afretard's name . Even then his batting was mediocre. If he is a pure bowler he shouldn't have been batting at no.7 in the first place.
Cricket Tragic Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 Nice stats. Reminds me of Inzi/Mahela in 2003 but this isn't as bad. Do you have the bowling ones as well?
Utalk Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 I thought Cameron White would be one of the stars at this world cup.
Cricket Tragic Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 I thought Cameron White would be one of the stars at this world cup. He was in poor form so I didn't expect much from him. I expected more from Amla. He did alright but not it wasn't great. Kohli is pretty similar. Couple of decent knocks but I expected more.
ch1234 Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 I can't believer after such a very bad show, Michael Clarke endedup with 70 odd average in this WC
Show_stopper Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 Yusuf Pathan's purple patch seems to be over. We wouldn't have collapsed at the back end of the innings against Eng and SA had he not been playing.
Sachin=GOD Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 Ponting: 102 runs in first 6 matches and then scored a century against India to make a total of 206 runs in 7 matches for the tournament. As an all rounder Abdur Razzaq failed with both bat & ball: scored 104 runs in 8 innings and took just 5 wickets.
yoda Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 Sree takes the cake it looks like. We must be so good to win the finals with 6 wickets/2 overs to spare and with him in the lineup.
gult Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 Sree is suited for tests where we need the bowlers to give their 100% all the time and look for wickets. In ODIs, he gets carried away
yoda Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 Sree is suited for tests where we need the bowlers to give their 100% all the time and look for wickets. In ODIs' date=' he gets carried away[/quote'] I agree, he must he saved from embarrassing himself in ODIs.
Manny_Pacquiao Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 any paki batsman would fit the bill. makes u wonder how such a *****y team could reach the semi finals.
