ravishingravi Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 Greatbong at it again http://greatbong.net/2011/04/05/the-big-hearts/
EnterTheVoid Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 Listen, I lived in the Middle East and anyone who thinks pakis automatically get the support of muslims just because they're muslims themselves need to pull their head out if their ****. With arabs and pakis, theres no brotherhood, more of a master/slave mentality. pakis in the gulf actually got along well with other sub continental folk (india/lanka/bangladesh) anybody who spent a reasonable amount of time in the gulf countries would confirm this.
ravishingravi Posted April 5, 2011 Author Posted April 5, 2011 "Finally a personal message. To Mr. Gambhir. You sir have been one of my favorite players throughout the years—dependable, smart, not amazingly talented like Yuvi but always keenly aware of your limitations and playing by them. By remembering 26/11, a personal tragedy to many of us, you have only risen in our esteem"

The Irony is after formation of Pakistan, they tried to link their culture more towards the Arabs and Arabs right now treat them like sh@#. Arabs only care about who get the job done for them.
EnterTheVoid Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 Treat them like ****, they certainly do. I am not basing this on one or two isolated incidents, I'm basing this on my observations of having lived there for 10 years. They got bugger all in common with the arabs. Most of them used to hang around Indian folk, go to Indian schools, eat at Indian restaurants etc.
dhongi_baba Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 A Salute To Gambhir.. what a man..straight from the heart..my respect to him has doubled.:adore:
ravishingravi Posted April 5, 2011 Author Posted April 5, 2011 I am just not sure why anyone in Pakistan should take offence to Gambhir. I mean he is not talking of their zehniyat. It is his country whose city was attacked by terrorist and he is dedicating the victory to them. Now, what has possibly done wrong here. Finals was also in Mumbai, so it was natural.
