Not satisfied with my performance: Sreesanth

This is one occasion where I think the presence of IPL may actually end up hurting Indian cricket. Inside of him, surely Sreesanth must know that he isn’t really cut out for the shorter formats (if he doesn’t realize it after being walloped around so often for so long, he will NEVER realize it). But he knows that if he chooses to opt out of ODIs/T20s and focus only on test cricket (which is probably the right thing to do, from his own perspective and India’s), then that would mean an automatic disqualification from the lucrative IPL contracts. How would any franchize be compelled to play 100s of 1000s of dollars for a player who thinks he isn’t even good enough to be in the national ODI and T20 team? But bit by bit, all the negative publicity and criticism he has endured from both the media and fans alike will begin to take a toll.

Sreesanth should never have been put in that position and Dhoni knows this now. The guy came in to play the biggest game of his life low on match practice and confidence. I am surprised he didn't get decked harder than he did.

Tharanga caught cold feet. Their weak middle order meant they couldn't afford to lose wickets. It kinda worked at the start. But he didn't look like getting a break through either.I am glad he went only at 6.5 .
