India in West Indies, 1970/71. West Indies used to rule cricket during those days, and for a weak Indian team of that time to defeat them in Test series that too away from home is simply phenomenal.

Not really Bublu...the WI's dominance started a few years after that. Don't get me wrong, it was still a historic win with a certain SM Gavaskar announcing himself to the world, but WI were not all conquering back in 1970/71.

This was their rebuilding phase after the earlier bunch had moved on. They still had a pretty good batting line up but the bowling was mediocre. It was filled with inexperienced bowlers and Sobers, who by 1966 or so had become more of a stock bowler (even more than he usually was). Lance Gibbs played only 1 test in the series I think. It was huge though given how poorly India had played overseas (even with the win in the NZ in the late 60s) and having never won against the WI.
