Even Menaria looked quite impressive in his short innings today. The guy has definitely improved compared to what we saw of him in the u-19 WC. Had a very good ranji season after missing the initial part of it due to injury and played some wonderful knocks.

IMO, Maneria can play spinners well, but very limited off side player,does not play pacers well.I have seen his couple of ranji trophy innings,can hit sixes off spinners at will.But generally struggles against pacers.

I agree , he showed much better technique today compared to what we saw in the WC , though I saw only his 3 sixes , not the whole innings ..even though it was against spinners , the body balance was great & it was very clean hitting .. May be hes not as bad as S Thiwary , but I would like to see a little more of him now ... hes improved certainly & his bowling was more than decent from what I remember ..So May be I got this one wrong .

why isnt kamran getting selected.. i bet he will do well, he is a good bowler and i hope he is not no bowled as if mailnga can bowl then definitely khan as well and if he suceeds and improves , he can play for india
