Sachin Post Retirement

I know it's hard for us Sachin fans to imagine our beloved Sachin not playing cricket anymore.. but we know that in the near future.. he will be retiring. My question is.. what would we like to see sachin doing after his retirement. I can't for the life of me imagine Sachin doing what Ravi Shastri is doing for example. So what would be it for Sachin? Selection committee? Coach of Indian Team? Coach of his own cricket club? completely away from Cricket? I am clueless here.

He might move to England to avoid public? He might even start a cricket academy. so many guys started their career after Sachin and finished much before. Sachin might feel like Morgan freeman in shawshank redemption.

The one in bold is most possible, atleast for few years after retirement. The man is so humble :hatsoff:

Sachin might surprise us all and follow the footsteps of Ravi Shastri. I just want the guy's knowledge and expertise being utilized somehow. Maybe perhaps the position of batting consultant/batting psychologist in the Indian National Team would be apt for him.

If I am not mistaken, he once said that he wanted to expend his hotel business after retirement and would like to concentrate only on that for a while. So I would say that he will be completely away from cricket and do some sort of business for rest of his life. Of course he will always be associated with cricket for life but he might not acquire a career in cricket.

Don't think he can keep away from cricket. Its in his blood...maybe start an academy which will cater to other sports as well.

Man life will be so hard without Sachin Tendulkar in cricket all those victories he gave us remember when people use to glue to tvs in 1990s and watch sachin trash bowlers and remember how people use to switch off tvs the moment he got out. HATERZ will hate and Sachin ramesh tendulkar will always be the greatest cricketer of all time.

I am sure he will be into some sort of business where he can use his brand value to reap benefits. Maybe a hotel chain pr restaurant chain and some perfume or sports goods lines.

Prime Minister. I can't imagine cricket without Sachin. I got into cricket at the age of 16 when the Little master was 16. He's been around ever since. One thing is for sure, I won't be as obsessive about cricket when he retires.

I would like to see him become the coach of the Indian team in the nearer future , would give me one more chance to follow the Indian Team with same passion as I did when Sachin was a player

I'm not sure if he has a degree or something else along the lines of education, but if he does then he might just pursue another career outside of sport. He still needs to make an income somehow but he is a poster child for virtually the whole World so I think he has a pretty safe future ahead of him. As for him being involved in cricket.... well I'm not sure about that.

Trust me. He and his next two generations don't have to "make an income".
True, but you never know what the future holds. You might be a billionaire one day and zero in a few hours. There are lots of predators out to get you. You might be Sachin or an average Joe but trust me all eyes are on your pocket.
