Only a True B******d would call Sachin a Midget . And what are CSK fans fans getting so hyper about? You have no home grown champ leading your team or any local superstars ' date=' there is Dhoni and Raina ( Both Northies ) that make your otherwise dull team look interesting to some extent . Guess Badrinath , Ashwin , Anirudh , Balaji are the best talented lot to come out from your place but are they any good compared to cricketers from other parts of the country? One can find more talented youngsters playing in every corner of Mumbai , selecting a few at random and making them play under MSD would produce much better results . Sorry Lungis , You Suck.[/quote'] Boss calm down. All this is unnecessary considering the fact that despite your "gali gali mein tailunted" youngsters you still lost to CSK in the finals last year. Teek hain, abhi chup rehjao.

The stadium was empty today??? How did they not get tickets. Glogirl, I am not going to call your city or your beach a dump. I liked the city and the people. However, I do not like your team and the fans on ICF. :P Don't confuse the two. PS: I AM NOT A DUDE :whack:
This is the absolute height of self righteous, sanctimonious bullcrap I have ever come across. :haha::haha::haha::haha::haha::haha: Subah'nallah....:hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:

:D Glo, I was joking. Initially an evil CSK fan called youngIndia was trolling in all MI threads. So my posts in this thread are a counterweight. I only support MI and PWI to a lesser degree. The other teams I don't care about.
i too the same kind only. last year there were several people who came out and confronted in FB before and after the finals and started trolling. so i got totally fed up. that's why. actualy i like sachin very very much. who will hate him. but cant give up my place too naah.

Looks like CSK jumping from 7th to 4th spot has made some very worried and insecure. :giggle: Don't worry, we plan to be up and down the table all season, in the meantime hold into your spot in the semis if you can. :hehe:

How would you justify that?

I dont get this. I am Indian and I support India in international cricket. My team won the WC. Similarly I am a chennaite and I support CSK in IPL and CL. My team won the IPL and Champions league. This way, i get the best of both worlds. Plus, i get an extra team to support in IPL since Sachin is in it.

LOL at those mocking CSK's local talent when it is the only team to have 4 of their starters as local bwoys, and not some random spot fillers, 3 of them bought in the auction or retained being paid $500k or above, showing that they are players the team considers as critical to their success. Now suck on that Baad Indian. :finger:

CSK needs to do something about its batting. Playing Anirudh at no.7 maybe ok if Albie was firing, but given Albie’s dodgy form and Anirudh’s sporadic hitting style, our lower middle order batting looks a bit suspect. I know we won against Pune the other day, but that was 2 consecutive games where the lower middle order failed to close out on reasonable starts. Against MI, we were 115/2 after 15, chasing 160. Most T20 teams would back themselves to win from that situation. Against Pune as well, we scored only 30 runs in the last 4 overs, despite having 6 wickets in hand. I am not sure when Dwayne Bravo is joining the team, but when that does that happen, they should seriously consider playing him in place in Randiv, or even Albie maybe. Dwayne could potentially have a ‘Kieron Pollard’ effect on CSK, lifting the overall standards of the team in every single department. But generally speaking, this is still a VERY good team. I still think CSK has the best overall batting strategies of any T20 team that I have ever seen, they still have the best captain, especially in pressure situations, in the world. They have by far the least amount of deadweights in the team, among all IPL teams. And most importantly, they have one of the best ground-fielding units in the entire tournament and that could make a HUGE difference, as we go deeper into the tournament. Come to think of it – Compared to last year, many of the vital cogs in the team have misfired so far and still we have either won or lost closely. Vijay still hasn’t played a single big innings, despite promising much. The most valuable batsmen in the team, Raina, hasn’t had a decent hit out, much like Dhoni. Albie’s batting has stuttered more often than not. The batting load so far has been exclusively carried by two of the most unlikeliest candidates – Badrinath and Hussey. Its time for the other big guns to warm up and start firing. And when that happens - and it will - look out everbody, LOOK OUT!
