IIRC there was a major bomb blast in Assam a couple of years ago (I think it was a day or two after Diwali) but it was hardly covered by the media.

This is blatant discrimination - when a similar incident happened to the CM of Andhra it was all over the news for days but its a case of "small" Arunachal so no news coverage :(( That is why I often say there is still a lot left to really make this country equal as we assume. There is hardly any newstime given to this serious news even though a whole CM is missing and last year in Reddy's case it was shown 24x7 in all news channels. There is still a bias and everyone contributes towards it. Arunachal is just an example and it is not about small too. AP is bigger than Punjab, Haryana, Kerala, Delhi, Jharkhand etc. and half of Indian states but I doubt people care even 10% for Arunachal to what they do for that state. And not only media but every Indian is responsible to be frank. Arunachal is just an example but there are many other such states where although the states are so loyal to the nation yet those states are hardly cared by the rest of India. The bias and discrimination still continues amongst this great nation itself and everyone is responsible though only the govt. is held responsible by many. However hard we try but India is far from being an ideal or an equal nation. BTW on topic how come he has completely disappeared. China has some bad vibes with Arunachal and can it be a mischief of China. :hmmm:

BC if CMs are flying in such helicopters then where has all the defense and political expenditures gone. Politicians are siphoning off billions of dollars but we cannot get a few decent helicopters that too for VVIPs. :WTF: More than the helicopters, its some politicians who force pilots to fly in such weather despite their advice
