Services it can only be used in the US. Some 'unlocking' is required to make calls from ur Indian sim/number

Looks like it is exclusive to Aircell, so I feel the Aircell reps. will force you to get a prepaid or postpaid plan. For example in U.A.E, Etisalat and Du sell iPhone 4 unlocked with plans and cannot buy it without any plan even though it is unlocked. * doesn't say it is locked.

Dont know why its overpriced in India Its the price which it has been launched at, the DP should be around 29-30k, can someone confirm if the Indian version has the same specs as the International one? and btw here in India they are selling the Galaxy S at around 23k when I last checked :D

Those without a factory unlocked phone...jailbreak your phone using redsn0w and then unlock it using ultrasn0w through Cydia.

Sachinism Posted June 12, 2011 Posted June 12, 2011 I got the Desire HD. Basically I had the Desire and it was insured, they accidently sent me a Desire HD instead of a Desire, anyways keeping it for now, will get a new phone with my contract upgrade in December
