already? They didn't even "consider" it?
tbh, sometimes i sympathise with the likes Ijazz Butt and PCB, everything they try their hand at turns into pudding....these latest fiasco in NW Pak and Karachi (nr the stadium) by some nut jobs has set any international cricket in Pak for another 1-2 years. PCB should take the conscious effort for now and just declare dubai as their temporary home for 2 years, at least it can give them (and their opponents) some stability towards planning. And plan for a lucrative "home" series in dubai v India. If I am not wrong, Iraq football played all their "home" matches in the gulf during the Gulf War II and still ended up winning the 2004 Asian Cup. Infact i might start a thread for suggestions on how to move pak cricket forward in terms of stability and future tours.

No country should be touring Pakistan for atleast 3-4 years.
At least 3-4 years ? You think after 3-4 years people are going to wake up & say "Geez, I wish I can die today" ? We just got Osama after 10 years. We still have Zawahiri, Bawahiri, Omar, Beemar & his clan to work on. I'd say we should revisit this topic after 10 years. And the wait is only good for Pakistani cricket. One more incident, you guys are doomed forever, dont take that chance.

Cricket in Pakistan is dead as we know it. Unfortunately its starting to look like a very backwards country where car bombs and attacks have become common place...even the military isn't being spared. Need to weed out the scum from within Pakistani government. Seriously its not even safe for Pakistan to play in Pakistan. I'm starting to get worried for the domestic cricketers as well. I read somewhere these clowns think its against Islam to play cricket?? lol..hope they all meet the same fate as OBL one day.

Mahela's comments on the attacks and the reaction of the Lankans:

"We were very angry when we get off the bus and it took us a long time to calm down," Jayawardene says. "We were angry that, as innocent people, we had been placed at such risk. We had no one to protect us. Obviously we can't forget the five policemen who died trying to save us. We remember them, dearly, but even those men were left to die. "We know it's difficult to prevent terrorism but we asked for security and didn't get it. People died needlessly – and our wives back home were going crazy. They knew seven of our guys were in hospital and they thought some had died."

Excellent point. They think they can push SL around. I hope BCCI keeps Punjab Ranji Team home instaed of legitimizing the large hearted people.

Atleast for another 5 years, no country should play in Pakistan. If SL team goes they deserve to get shot at. Pakistan is in a black hole situation and to be honest, I can't see it coming out of it. It has been digging a hole for itslef for some time. The country is disintegrating by the day and I think that the smug which Indians have about the situation ( some of it justifiable ) will be wiped off very soon when they realize that this will have a clear threat to their states also.
