Bublu Bhuyan Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 And suddenly from a biased commentator' date='Holding will again become padosis's favourite commie.[/quote'] Here's how much of a good, unbiased commentator Holding was to the padosis when he said that West Indian bowlers were reverse swinging the ball for a long time, only that it never got a name back then - http://tinyurl.com/3aup495 Now all of a sudden he has become such a nice person and an unbiased commentator.

Bublu Bhuyan Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 These hypocrites who themselves abandoned national duty for 3 long years to play in that 'Kerry Packer Circus', needs to be confronted about it by some reporter. Let's see what their response would be like.
Zap_Brannigan Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 Because IPL clashes with other team international series and BCCI bully weaker boards to send their players to IPL. As Holding said' date=' IPL never clashes with India international series. India would be crying like Holding if Sachin & Zaheer had to miss test series in England to play PPL.[/quote'] a paki and his conspiracy theories...:haha::haha::haha:
cricket_usa Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 Because IPL clashes with other team international series and BCCI bully weaker boards to send their players to IPL. As Holding said, IPL never clashes with India international series. India would be crying like Holding if Sachin & Zaheer had to miss test series in England to play PPL. Wow, I knew pakis were morons but not to this extent. Why would BCCI bully weaker boards into sending players? Why would they want players from weaker boards anyway. When someone is paying huge amount of money they want the best. Sachin and many Indian players had chance to play in the counties in 90's when cricket money was not that good in India, but they did not abandoned the country for money like a bunch of Saffers and NZ 'ers did. From your moronic post, we can say that Indians were more patriotic then the other bunch, they want to represent their country than playing for money. Also, why would a league organised by Indians clash with Indian games. Why don't americans have Super bowl and World Series on the same day? No wonder WICB is in shambles, no one know to think.
Karan114 Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 Wow' date=' I knew pakis were morons but not to this extent.[/quote'] Never underestimate them...
jairamesh Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 Again Holding is following in Tony Greig's footsteps. 1) Autobiography coming out, 2) The biggest market is India, 3) Hence make controversial statement like Tony Greig about Indian cricket. And let the books sales do the rest. Holding also just wants a piece of the cake that is Indian Cricket. All cheap wannabe celebs use this technique to sell books...and Holding and Greig are no different...can't blame them for trying to make some money. Who is next now...Bob Willis...Botham
jairamesh Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 Here is another thought about "holier than thou" Holding, for all his big talk about the nonsense in Windies cricket. How about he stop ranting on TV, and go run go run for WICB president to clean-up West Indies cricket.
jairamesh Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 Rameez: "there needs to a IPL window....blah blah" Holding: "I talked about that....and it never effects an Indian series, never" Jeez, this guy has a real angle for India, the problem with many of these so called ex-legends is they too nostalgic for the past, getting paid peanuts, content with the anglo-saxom crowd, when the Lord Snooty ruled over their *****. Times have changed, Goonda Raj rulz cricket now mikey! I really hope India hammer West Indies into oblivion in the coming series.
Indiawin Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 Give him an IPL commentary contract next year and he will fall into his place. :hysterical:
Cricket Tragic Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 Give him an IPL commentary contract next year and he will fall into his place. :hysterical: Holding does not do commentary for any T20 games (even for Sky).
Indiawin Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 Holding does not do commentary for any T20 games (even for Sky). Money =
Cricket Tragic Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 Money = He has already refused money to do commentary for T20 games.
Indiawin Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 He has already refused money to do commentary for T20 games. IPL after party + Big Money =
Sachin=GOD Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 Holding does not do commentary for any T20 games (even for Sky). He has already refused money to do commentary for T20 games. *respect*
kubrickian Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 Nobody is forcing foreign players to play in IPL. They can pull their names out of the auction like Ravi Bopara did and they wont get selected. Do you think franchises are insane to shell out millions of dollars for a player who is not committed to playing for their team ? Of course, IPL wont clash with Indian season because BCCI is organizing the schedule and there wont be an IPL without Indian players in it so its not going to clash against India's tours or domestic season. How daft is this guy ? Anyway, IPL is a good thing because it brings more power to the players rather than get treated like crap and bullied by WICB and get paid paltry sums with unfair contracts. Its time the boards learn to value and manage their players better than use them like toilet paper.
CoverDrive Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 well he is entitled to his opinions. And why should we care. Great players also lose it. There is a constant lamenting over old days and glory and how money is spoiling everything.
Zap_Brannigan Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 Rameez: "there needs to a IPL window....blah blah" Holding: "I talked about that....and it never effects an Indian series, never" Yes, Holding..Its very strange that the India-England series will never happen at the same time as the India-Aus series. I suspect that the ICC is working for the BCCI who inturn is run by packer. Oh packer, remember the times when international cricketers were allowed to openly play for packer?? Wait..what do you mean they werent?
