Been watching Cricket since 96 but yet to see any foreign spinner creating problems against the Indian batsmen on a regular basis . So it has to be someone who has taken more wickets from the previous era , having said that one also needs to consider that Indian Batting line up in the 60s-70s-80s wasnt as strong as it is now so getting more wickets in the 70s-80s for a foreign spinner wouldnt have been much tougher as compared to the spinners of today.

i don't think OP included any subcontinent bowlers. Even otherwise he is not the best. Very small sample. Actually against all subcontinent teams by other foreign teams. SJ could have been more clear in the OP.

Why is everyone here confusing Warne's stats against India with his stats against Lanka and Pak.Both Lankan and Pak batsmen were mediocre against him.
