1983-2011 Posted June 6, 2011 Posted June 6, 2011 New Delhi: After the midnight police crackdown on his Satyagraha camp at Ramlila Ground in New Delhi, there's more trouble for Baba Ramdev. The ownership of the land, on which his Yoga ashram in Haridwar is located, is being contested in court. The plot originally belonged to Udaseen Akhada which is represented by Mahant Rajendra Das and as per the norm cannot be sold, registered, transferred to anyone else. After his death, the land should have gone to his successor Mahant Mahendra Das, but the plot was sold to Baba Ramdev's close aide Acharya Balkrishna instead. Registration of land is challengeable to restoration and the case is now in the High Court. "Acharya Balkrishna, the boy who stays with Baba Ramdev is a Nepali national. I was told that he has committed a crime in Nepal and fled to Haridwar and became an India national. He has also got his passport made. Ramdev wanted govt to deal with corruption and now govt are trying to take small steps against corruption. what's wrong with that!! May be Ramdev could tell his followers not to deal in corruption, not to pay bribes, not to pay anyone below wage, not to hire under age workers, pay their taxes and also he could enquire his donaters of source of the money if its in big amount. Baba should be careful that he is not recieving black money in donations.

People were asking why and how can these Babas and Hazares dictate terms when they are not elected members and be involved in making laws. Well as the poster above shows, instead of asking how institution can be used or party's personal agenda, he is saying lets start with him first since he is asking for it. With this quality of educated electorate let alone the illiterate ones, the understand of democracy and civil rights will be warped as expected.

They should take big steps to eradicate corruption and stop pervertion of law and order. ramdev is not elected by people so not that intrested in his morals. If we had no corruption and law and order which was whiter then white, then law could take its course with Ramdev and others and other breaches of law. But cos politicians allow coirruption and all this and take no actiopn then we have what we have. Hence movement against corruption is even more valid and should be supported by your ilk instead of going after babas and what not. Congress laying smoke screens and diversionary tactics by going after individuals. When the bigger picture is to tackle and stop corruption in all sectors of India. Which strangley the govt and all other piliticians seem to not want to tackle

It is clearly vendetta against Ramdev because of his movement. I am no fan of Ramdev either, but I wont support Congress's politically inspired targeting of him.

But we are supporter of the movement against corruption, which has been initiated by Hazare, ramdev and many others, including the lakhs of people who supported this movement and joined in. What next? Launch charcter assaniations of all the people who support ant corruption. You keep on attacking the individuals. But it is about the bigger picture , which many dont see and instaed fall for smoke screen tactics.
