Long Range Predictions

Yes BB' date= Sachin constitutes 1/11 of the Indian team and 1/22 of the players playing in a match. In order for the team to win, u need the other batsmen to score too and bowlers to take 20 wickets. How can "Sachin the batsman" account for other player's performances within his own team? Better still... how is he supposed to stop each one of the 11 opposition players from performing? He is not playing a video game where he can control actions of all 11 players in the field. Or adjust the difficulty of the game to score 100' after 100's :P He cant re-start the game too if his team is losing :hitler: :embarassed: kuch zyada hi bol gaya mai :vroam:
I guess you have not heard of the "Factor # 1" by V_D :phehehe:

50% percent of Sachins achievement will be considered long range. On side note I think Sachin may start using lighter bat and may bat for us way longer then any one predicting here

Yes, but the V_D theory effects cannot be blamed on Sachin, they should be blamed on the team-mates.... If the other player's balls shrink when Sachin scores a 100, then what can Sachin do? Give them a lap dance? :dontknow: And wtf is the shrink i the team doing? Should'nt he know about V_D's theory and instill in the other players the confidence required to over-come their sub-conscious defect? Or should Sachin on re-entering the pavilion after his dismissal give a 5 minute therapy session to the out-going batsmen?

Zak will play the 2015 WC. Dhoni will continue to be the most successful captain. CSk will continue to dominate IPL. India will continue to dominate World Cricket. Serani will always be speaking things abt how England is Gr8 and No.1, and their players are the best in the world.

He must have already realised it and hence disappeared from the forum :sherlock:
Nopes, he comes back after every few days to spout more venom about Goddy and to tell everyone how Dhoni is the greatest thing since sliced bread :cantstop:

If he does that then he (and Team India along with him) will suffer badly in Test matches. Zak must retire from ODIs soon in order to prolong his Test career.

>Cook will come close within 2K of Tendulkars Test Runs aggregate but will not be able to overhaul it Well thats bold prediction, Lot of batter have 2-3 good years and then they become average. I don't see him even coming close to Boss.

Agree. I think Cook will end up at 10k runs and not more than that.

Regardless of whether someone else breaks Sachin's records or not' date=' he will be the greatest ever [s']cricketer sporting icon . His attitude, humility inspite of having all the talent in the world and hopes of a billion people on his shoulders is a source of inspiration. His almost childlike enthusiasm for the game is unparalleled. P.S I hope he plays the 2015 world cup too
Corrected :-)

1. Cook will come close within 2K of Tendulkars Test Runs aggregate but will not be able to overhaul it. 2. Tendulkar will play 2015 WC 3. No Bowler(Steyn might come close but even he will find it difficult ) from the current crop will cross 500 Test wkts ( Harbi the only possible contender ) 4. KP will not play in the 2015 WC 5. Punter to retire in the next 18 months 6. No Paki Batsman will avg over 45 in Tests. And ofcourse the Super long range Prediction : No one will ever get to within 80% of Tendulkar's Intl Runs tally or his Intl Hundreds.
Tendulkar is a one off like Warne and I agree his records will stand for a long time. 500 wickets in the modern game will be passed imho Punter will only retire if his average starts to drop rapidly
