Not too much for a good ebook. Even $20 would be a fair price for a top ebook, for the risk of -ease of use and piracy -.

So for them buying an ebook is cheaper, for me it turns out to be expensive. for the India Kindle store, Amazon should give cheaper ebooks just like the paperbacks are cheaper here.

But you can imagine the problems with offering 'cheaper' ebooks for subcontinent. For print media it still requires some work for someone to get a book 'smuggled' from subcontinent. But for ebooks, it would be mayhem. Anyway, IMO, $10/20 is not a bad price for a quality ebook for something you really want/need to read. And if cheaper print edition is available, then of course is better! ( I have yet to learn how to read ebook, I have 100s/1000s of them :).)

I thought you were talking about ebooks in general (regardless of the device you use to read). From your post it seems like Amazon already have architecture to have dynamic pricing based on the location of user. So, all you can do is wait for a while or figure out 'other' ways.
