vvvslaxman Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 Heard of BLT.. What is FLT... F**king Lettuce Tomato?
Sir_Afridi Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 Obviously FLT20 >>>> IPL! Would say this even if Pakistani players were playing the IPL! FLT20 is proper cricket, IPL is just a tamasha with a disturbing display of wealth, glitz and glamour rather than the game itself!
Khalpat Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 FLT is what? Is it any district level tournament of Tamilnadu. Why the hell Pakistani think its better than IPL?
vvvslaxman Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 Obviously FLT20 >>>> IPL! Would say this even if Pakistani players were playing the IPL! FLT20 is proper cricket, IPL is just a tamasha with a disturbing display of wealth, glitz and glamour rather than the game itself! Entire salary of all the players must be less than that of what Parameswaran and Ralphie Gomez got. :cantstop: . For Pakistani players 1 plate biriyani is more than enough.
nballa Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 FLT20 is proper cricket, IPL is just a tamasha with a disturbing display of wealth, glitz and glamour rather than the game itself! you are right, ipl is not 'proper' cricket, those are not real bats or balls or people. the bowler is not actually bowling the ball nor is the batsman actually hitting it nor are the spectators in the stands applauding. its all a videogame.

vvvslaxman Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 Friends Life T20 :hysterical::hysterical: Thanks for telling me the expansion. Otherwise i would have never known till cricket dies.
Khalpat Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 Friends Life T20 Oh now I am confuse then what the hell is that Faisal Bank T20 about which you have opened a thread in which some Wolves, Tigers and lot many animals are contesting.
f.b.m Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 I know this doesnt say which is better but a little observation when I played a match on saturday in the middle of (rural) Yorkshire: Five of the opposition guys turned up with IPL Jerseys ( 2 CSK, 2 BRC and 1 Gay Gay Aar) and they were all as English as the EDL. The free viewing on itv has made a huge difference even if its T20. Edit: Having said that some of them said they havent watched the likes of Morgan play (except for Channel 5 highlights and IPL). Goes to show how much Sky sports is fawking up cricket in England.
mahesh_g Posted June 27, 2011 Author Posted June 27, 2011 Heard of BLT.. What is FLT... F**king Lettuce Tomato? FWT would have been good. Friend's Wife T20.:yay:
Zap_Brannigan Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 I came here to ask what is FLT. Since i know now, that shows how big FLT is.
Misu243 Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 It's called pure jealousy. Jealousy at the fact that we demolished them and sent them packing from Mohali, won the WORLD CUP and are hosts of the BIGGEST T20 tournament in Cricket, IPL. Don't really know which tourney is really Tamasha, FLT or IPL which hosted players like Chris Gayle, Dale Steyn, Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar, MS Dhoni, Graeme Swann, Daniel Vettori, Brandon McCullum, Dwayne Bravo, Mahela Jayawardene, Kumar Sangakarra, Virat Kohli, Muttiah Muralidaran, Michael Hussey, Doug Bollinger on world class venues like the Eden Gardens and Wankhede Stadium.
ensd2 Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 IPL what else !!! Even if IPL level is not quite high : too many aussie players , few average indian players .
Serani Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 There are plenty of international stars in the FL T20 aswell, infact I would say there are a lot more mediocre international players in the IPL [look at the aussie coaches giving there homeboys contracts for example] and the domestic players in IPL are of a similar if not poorer standard to the ones in the FL T20. Either way they are both just the same T20 bull at the end of the day, but I know what I would prefer to watch, the one without screaming commentators shouting corporate slogans every 20 seconds :giggle:
Mystique_Myth Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 IPL is anyday better than FLT20... FLT20 consists of international players??.. actually faded international players like Pollard, Afridi were 1ly there i guess :P

That is a rather stereo typical excuse for not watching a cricket match. If i am going to skip watching cricket matches because of commies i will have to skip all the matches that involve Nasser Hussain (constant whinging), Russell Arnold, L Siva, Brad Hogg.. et al. In terms of quality of players that take part, it is freaking obvious that "friend league or whatever has much much poorer standard of players with local crappy umpires.
jairamesh Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 This "F**king Lettuce Tomato" Cup is where Chaminda Vaas opens for his team, and Pollard seemingly can knows how to play cricket. The other day a player from an Associate country scored a hundred!, talk about quality, more like wannabe.
