I mean, these are veggies which need Indian soil/climate and what not. I remember my mother was once having a tough time finding kesar (saffron) there. All the desi theme stores also didn't seem to have it.

All the desi theme stores also didn't seem to have it. Kesar is available everywhere in the US, even in non-desi stores. :nervous: I bought some spanish saffron once when I was at uni. Super expensive but sooooooo good. :agree:

It would have helped had you defined the context of your accusation, instead of leaving it for others to interpret.

They are not available in regular grocery stores - just some Indian ones though I am not sure about Lauki since I don't eat it, but I think I might have seen it lying around somewhere. Indian stores in/around NY/NJ/SFO/LA carry most India specific things these days. Haven't been able to find Indian mangoes though - maybe there are some import restrictions. I remember my mother was once having a tough time finding kesar (saffron) there. All the desi theme stores also didn't seem to have it. Saffron is available even in regular grocery stores. It's possible some Indian stores don't carry it though.

Hence the confusion / mis-interpretation. anyway.. this is unnecessary argument. I already said he should be banned from giving advice on medical conditions.
