He has the temperament to succeed at this level, but this series has exposed some problems against the short ball. He needs to iron out those flaws and I'm sure he will. But its not like non-selection for England will spell the end of his career or something.

But He needs to score some runs to keep the selectors interested. it looks like Raina has cemented his spot ahead of Kohli and Pujara. Hes scored pretty well despite getting two really bad calls. IMO Pujara Rahane and Sharma are the major test prospect that need to be tested and deserve chances to play ahead of Kohli and Raina.

Start giving players time, they won't score every match, Kohli has proven his worth, its just 1 innings he needs to get going, in ODI's too he had a rather sluggish start.

I think his performances in the Test arena have made sure he is rightly ahead of all those others. As for Rohit Sharma, come back when he scores runs in his next series. The ODI series was his first good one in over 3 years.
