cowboysfan Posted July 1, 2011 Posted July 1, 2011 Did IPL really spoil in or is he always been a FTB ?.did we expect too much from overseas because he got a hundred at home?
vvvslaxman Posted July 1, 2011 Posted July 1, 2011 when he is pushed to a scenario where he has to defend more balls than he can attack he gets in no man's land. He has this age old problem that guys like Jaffer had. Not knowing where the off stump is. He looks better when he is more positive.
akshaywekhande Posted July 1, 2011 Posted July 1, 2011 He was always below average in international cricket, apart from his century at banglore he hasn't done anything worth remembering in his international career across all formats.

I thought he would be better off in Test cricket and so was considering his poor ODI/T20I records separately, but it seems he is just not comfortable on more fast bowler friendly wickets whatever the form of the game. End of the day, three 50+ scores in 36 international innings is not good enough for a specialist batsman.
