The spinner took an amazing six wickets for five runs in 22 balls as Glamorgan tumbled from 77-4 to 98 all out. Somerset were then stumbling themselves at 44-4 before Kieron Pollard smashed 31 off 20 balls. Somerset's win, with, five and a half overs in hand, cements their place in second in South Group, on 16 points. Slow left-armer Suppiah's remarkable spell supplants in the record books the 6-14 taken by Pakistan seamer Sohail Tanvir for Rajasthan Royals against Chennai Super Kings in an Indian Premier League match at Jaipur in May 2008.
