Not sure what Holding has been saying on Sky but he's doing post match analysis for NDTV with SMG and he had some really encouraging words to say about the effort from our bowlers yesterday. Also said teams do struggle to get used to English conditions in the early part of the tour and that he expects India to be at the peak of their game from the next match onwards. Called PK a unique bowler, rare in the modern era but thinks PK will survive even on unresponsive pitches as long he doesn't try to change his natural action.

Was watching "Cricket writers on TV" this morning and it was quite astonishing to see how little respect some English mediamen had for India. Atherton was on the link from Lords and Paul Allott's opening sentence was "India don't look the number one side, do they?" This, exactly three days into the series, with Virender Sehwag unavailable and Zaheer Khan indisposed, leaving them to cope with three bowlers. Atherton felt India had been very poor, particularly on the first day. He contrasted the attitude of the English cricketers during practice to that of the visitors and felt that the Indians were either reeling from too much cricket, or were simply not up for it. Allott then enquired something to the effect as to whether they should be really taking cognizance of the official rankings. Atherton's reply was no, he felt England were the best side in the world. He went on to say that India's attack was...he didn't finish the sentence and grimaced instead, implying that it was unmentionably bad. It was pretty disheartening watching that as an Indian fan, I tell you. Unless India beat England, these guys will not be shown up for their obvious prejudice. I can understand pitching England as the favourites, but belittling what India has achieved is very unsportsmanlike.

These commies fails to recognize that this series is getting all the attention because its in england, had it been in India,( not saying that India can't win in England) India would have destroyed this side and these commies would have been making excuses for their so called better players.

Indians dont give a feck what these English cricket writers think of them,we do all the talk in the field.Even with what all (Zak's injury and all) that has happened with our team in this test,we still are in the game.England and all their cricket writers can feck off.

English ex players (many of them mediocre players in their time) and media are as biased as they come. I don't think we should care what they feel about India or Indian players, let alone feeling bad. These morons have no self respect whatsoever.. they sleep with allen stanfords and have guts to criticize IPL/BCCI/India for every bad thing that's happening in world cricket.

Guys who are listening to the English Commies....did they have anything to say about Ishant after thus spell? Or do they still feel he is not good?
Holding said ishant is bowling good and the other guys talked a bit about his form and performance in WI, don't remember anything else much

All these commies will STFU after they see the result of this series... :haha: Let them speak as much as they want - the more they speak crap about India the more they will curse their team when at the end of the tour - result would read 2-0 or 2-1 in favour of India... B->
