Even Dhoni doesn't run around in a field most of the time. You don't get my point here; chess may not be a very physical sport, but it is demanding physically. Please do not compare your exercises to the regimes of chess champions. It requires a unique level of 'match fitness', and is not easy to attain. It is just not about being 'smart' the way you are putting it. A mind cannot function smoothly without a fit body, and you are undermining the preparations required for a world champion chess player. Comparing it with cooking and all that is really ridiculous.

If they have modified to accommodate Cricket, Hockey etc. they should modify to include Anand (Chess) also. "Chess is not sports" is very superficial reason to deprive Anand of well deserved Bharat Ratna

And what is wrong in the bold part? This award is based on achievements at highest level in chosen area. And I am correct in saying that it is superficial reason - that "Chess is not a sport, as per dictionary"..to devalue the achievements of Vishy.
