They keep saying India does not deserve Number 1 ranking as they never beat Australia and SA away...Well how come england is number 1 team if they havent even came close to beating us in India....not for one decade, not for two decades but for 3 decades. yes England played well and we faltered at crucial juncture. remember England were 250 odd for 5 down in 1st dig, we dearly missed 4th bowler it was there to be seen. Similarly 105 for 6 in 2nd dig, we had them in trouble again. but lack of strike bowler was where we lost it. They had 3 strike bowlers with ably supported by Swann where we had two strike bowlers. So there was the difference.

I totally agree, another strike bowler and they could have been all out for 350 and 150 i think..

hussain was 100% right, hes not talking crap hes not talking bile....he right...listen to what hes saying and lets use it as a motivation,i have noticed even when someone whose not indian says or criticises anything about indian crciket even when its constructive that person becomes the biggest ass*hole ever!! If Indians did not value top ranking they wouldn't have worked their guts out to keep it for more than 18 months now. They keep saying we are not number 1 and yet no team has taken over us. If difference between top 4 team is not that great, sure someone should have taken over by now. Even if England over takes, they won't keep it for long.

Forget Nasser,this is what our former captain Saurav Ganguly had to say on AAJ TAK(Hindi news channel) about this series : India will be truly no.1 if they win the seriies here as well as the series in Aus ,but if England wins the series ,they will be deserving no.1 coz they have already beaten Aus in Aus. Our great Dada forgot Poms also have to win in sub-continent to deserve the no.1 tag.Some of his recent comments about our no.1 ranking has really pissed me off,dont know what is he trying to prove.
