No Need for Sehwag to come back

There is a need for Sehwag to come back.... If India LOSE the series 2 - 1 they are still the #1 ranked test team. Eat that crow pie Nassar.

The problem is if Sehwag is rushed in without testing his shoulders thoroughly it could be disaster. Its better for him to get fully 100% fit then play at 70%. It seems like Dravid will keep opening in remaining games as well unless Mukund scores 100, he is definately out. Gambhir will be back. Yuvi and Raina both have scored so Mukund gets the axe.

LOL at people questioning Sehwag's ability to score on tracks that are Not Flat. Sehwag in his first series as an Opener in England in 2002 did reasonably well. Last year in SA Yes he did poorly, But most of his dismissals were due to poor shot hitting straight to the fielder, that had nothing to do with Flat or green tracks. If he was playing in India he would have been out too.

The rankings are meaningless at this point, if we lose 2-1 . what is the use of some ranking when we are clearly not the best ?

thats fair enough, he got 150 on the flattest of australian wickets. dont get me wrong, im a HUGE veeru fan. in asia and on reasonably flat tracks, i dont think there is a better test batsman to make an opposition pay and work all day for their wickets. however, in SA and Eng, he is not a gamechanger. even more so against one of the best english attacks of all time as much as it pains me, and it ***ing hurts alot to say this because i would rather lose to pakistan than england, england are a better test side than india. they are miles ahead of everyone right now. and the real danger is that when SRT,RD and VVS go, they would probably win in india too, seeing as swann is A+

Flattest wicket? he scored that 100 on a fifth day pitch and saved the test or else we would have lost that series 3-1
