flamy Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 Why is he a "poor guy"? The guy saw the team he supports won a 2nd world cup and is seen sharing the trophy with Tendulkar which you will probably never get a chance to get within a mile of. well said, lulz. some retarded posts going around.
Ultimate_Game Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 yes the pain is worsening Not as much as what it would have been if we had lost the WC or failed to beat WI in WI :winky:
Desi Cartman Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 That same team at least won a test match last year in England without their main batsmen' date=' something your team doesn't look capable of so far.[/quote'] Congratulations ! Just to remind we were #1 test team till a week ago and also won the last WC. If winning 1 test match 12 months ago and India losing to Eng in Eng makes you happy then enjoy the moment
Rahul Dravid Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 look at them chuckle and giggle when they are getting their asses handed over to them. arent they angry at their own performances???????? they were acting as if everything was going smoothly.. i think they hav given up
vamos_rafa Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 ^ Yeah, I saw Sachin giggling after he dropped a sitter at mid-on. He could not pick up the ball and was simply smiling through. That adds to the frustration.
Ultimate_Game Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 ^^^ That was almost like when you are so frustrated the only thing you can do is smile and move on.
vamos_rafa Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 ^ Yes. thats what I meant, they have given up.
Cricket Tragic Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 Meh, any team which is down appears to have poor body language/team spirit. From my sig.... "Team spirit is an illusion only glimpsed in victory"

"Team spirit is an illusion only glimpsed in victory" Yes you are very right. But some times in these adverse situations, team spirit also prevails. All it takes is one magical performance from someone like what happened in the Eden Garden's test. Here, I am not trying to suggest that something magical would happen, infact the only magic that can happen is India actually crossing 300 while batting. But this is very painful. Never expected us to surrender this meekly, but it can happen to everyone.
