Rajiv Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 also belongs to rare club of 2 triples, 3rd one almost
Sir john Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 Aur ek toh pant-coat sir john tu sunle, Sehwag hota hai - SHEWAG nahi.. Already dimaag kharab hai, uppar se yeh Shewag likh ke aur kar rahe ho dimaag kharab. :nervous::nervous: :((:((
Cric_is_Life Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 He doesnt like wasting balls. Score off or get off... This approach has worked for him for so many years. A match to forget for him and his fans..:((
Rajiv Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 Is Sehwag accused of ball tampering ? If so' date=' this is even more humiliating. Even after all the tampering we still conceded 710 ? Oh god, this is unbearable![/quote'] ..u can't believe everything they write...must have gone bored with riots and killings
nsareen Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 Series Lost Accepted. What lies ahead ? Accepted that we lost this series, and badly. 1) Sehwag proved he is a Flat Track Bully. 2) Bowlers got smashed 3) Batsman failed except a few. 4) Specially Fitness was a big problem 5) Fielding suffered as most of the test team is Old. Looking at this , as always happen, there will be someone who becomes the scapegoat from this series. Maybe Laxman, Tendulkar,Raina, Harbhajan , there are so many, But the positive i see is, it's time to groom youngsters, bring them on and play them on tough tours, take the risk, it will benefit in long term. So what lies ahead, is introspection, changes, commitment.
Hell Raiser Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 Why? England is not enough as the-rapist? :cantstop:
Sachinism Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 And he joins an elite club of Indians to get King Pairs, which include Chadrashekar and the LEGENDARY Sir Aggy
cameron_black Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 sorry peoples, it seems that toffee umar and some other ancient guy is in the list too. so sehwag has more than enough company.
yoda Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 194 overs between the next 3 innings is more realistic.
nballa Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 how is this a world record if someone has already done it? what i'd like to see is a something more unique than that. a pair without facing a ball in both innings. has anyone come close? like a stumping off a wide or a run out of the non striker without facing a ball.
Pak_Fan_4_Eva Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 Serves the Indian team right for making century-hitting boy Mukund sit out:winky:
yoda Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 Why? England is not enough as the-rapist? :hysterical:
Bumper Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 Sehwag has saved Edgbaston! Hooligans have stopped rioting after the king pair & started laughing at us.
Cric_is_Life Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 Serves the Indian team right for making century-hitting boy Mukund sit out:winky: You are right. It seems Viru wasn't ready for this match..:((
yoda Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 Dont care what BCCI did. Sehwag has played test cricket for 10 years. He should know when to respect the bowlers and when to hammer them. This is as flat a ground he could get in England. Should have played himself back into some form here. First innings is understandable' date=' king pair is just unacceptable - dont think BCCI could be blamed here.[/quote'] ++
singhprakash72 Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 Serves the Indian team right for making century-hitting boy Mukund sit out:winky: Well not sure, he would have played 40 balls for 3 runs before getting out. Sehwag at least feels Indian fans don't deserve to watch this torture too long. I am kind of Angry at Strauss, if only he had give 30-35 overs today, we wouldn't be watching this pathetic cricket tomorrow.
amiret Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 He is a FTB who occasionally plays breathtaking innings outside the subcontinent. We cannot excuse his outrageous batting at the top of the lineup by saying that is the way he plays. He is averaging 27 against England . He played similarly against the swinging ball when Hoggard was bowling in 2006 in India. Out of 22 100's he has scored just 4 outside the subcontinent and just 5 50's
