amiret Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 N Srinivasan. Rajeev Shukla. The following players should never play Test cricket again for india. Sreesanth. Harbhajan . RP Singh Raina. Dhoni. Yuvraj Singh. Sehwag.

DhoniYuvraj Singh. Sehwag. One is a future BCCI president and the other the secreatry. Start their term in the next 45 days. About the names in the bold, are you really serious?
Fontaine Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 I disagree about Raina being kicked out. We need him. He's our best spinner.

Spiderguy252 Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 1. Srikkanth - kick this bloddy annachi out asap Aye! Let's make him go and watch Rajnikanth movies with his Annirudha son forever. N Srinivasan. Rajeev Shukla. Yes. Bloody politicians can go be dumped in the Arabian Sea for all I care. Or better yet, in Pakistan. amiret Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 One is a future BCCI president and the other the secreatry. Start their term in the next 45 days. About the names in the bold, are you really serious? Sree & BHajji . No debate. Dhoni . I have had enough of his Hit or Miss technique . Alternative to Dhoni ? Karthick ? Sehwag. Tough call. Failure in SA,Failure in England. Repeated failures against swing & seam bowling.Pathetic Second innings record.
amiret Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 You're kidding right? Yuvraj Singh Should have never played Test cricket 3 years ago. He has been a consistent failure abroad. it boggles my mind when indians ask for him to be selected. Kumble averaged more than him in West Indies in 2007 & Australia in 2008.
Karan114 Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 N Srinivisan and his Chennai Super Kings brand ambassador Kris Srikkanth would be a good start, but ain't gonna happen.

He has been a consistent failure abroad. it boggles my mind when indians ask for him to be selected. Kumble averaged more than him in West Indies in 2007 & Australia in 2008. The problem is that he's never been played for more than five tests at a stretch. Give him a chance, folks. He can't be worse than MS Dhoni for Chrissake. Didn't he score a 60 odd in one of his 2 innings this series by the way?

But it shows what a joke Indian cricket is that he is still a better option than most of the other young batsmen.

gs Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 I think its time we start organizing send off series for the oldies. They have served India long and well, but its time to go!! Speculating that youngsters in the team in their place would have fared far worse seems like bull. We got nuked 4-0 with 2 innings defeats -- can it get any worse than this?!? Youngsters need opportunities and experience to prove their mettle. Cant imagine what Mukund must have felt having been dropped after scoring a 100 in the practice game. For some unfit player like Sehwag to come in and score a careless king pair!!! Not trying to prove Mukund is a better player than Sehwag based on past credentials, but on present form Mukund should have played ahead of him. This reminds me of the situation when even the great Kapil kept playing which kept the express quick Srinath out of the team.
Manny_Pacquiao Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 heads will roll if india keeps losing. you guys are totally overreacting. yes, the BCCI are money hungry scum, but what doesn't occur to you people is that the BCCI won't be able command the clout it currently has if the team turns to ****. they need a strong test, ODI and t20 team to maintain their clout and their massive tv rights. nobody would want to pay top dollar to watch a mediocre team, tv channels and sponsors alike want return on investment, cricket boards want full stadiums. a successful indian team keeps the bcci's coffers swelling. the WELL BEING OF BOTH ENTITIES ARE LINKED. YES, there is the IPL, but international cricket is a bigger cash cow and as a consequence, the BCCI won't simply allow indian cricket to fade away on the internatonal stage. changes will be made, people will get fired, players will be replaced and the team WILL start winning again. so please spare us this doom and gloom crap. yes, it sucks to lose 4-0, but get a hold of yourselves.
SachDan Posted August 22, 2011 Author Posted August 22, 2011 What over-reaction are you talking? when a massive series like this ends in shambles, there has to be few men who should be held accountable for this fiasco.
Lurker Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 What over-reaction are you talking? when a massive series like this ends in shambles' date= there has to be few men who should be held accountable for this fiasco. Such is life :--D
