Lol at those experts,if anything many posters here underestimated Englands victory over Aussies ,saying its a weak Aussie team.Those idiots forgot when the same weakened Aussie team was in India just before the Ashes ,they gave us a very tough fight,we all know how tight Mohali match was and Bangaluru match was also much closer than the scorecard suggested in the end. If you compare that performance to how England defeated Aussies in Ashes ,there is a big difference.Defeating Aussies by innings and some runs at their home thrice is a great achievement.

Exactly. I was actually surprised when I joined forum and saw the reaction towards Ashes victory. People were using the term whitewash to describe Aussie team. But the same team was just 1 wicket away to draw the series. Except that Ashes, Australia has lost only 3 matches at home in last 4 years. I don't remember when they lost a series last time at home. Forget defeating Aussies at home, when was the last time a team defeated opposition by innings in 3 matches? Must have happened some 30-40 years ago. India on the other hand has rarely been dominating at home. Sure we have lost only 1 match in last 2 year, but we never dominated any team in India in last couple of years. How fans were expecting India to dominate Australia in Australia? We haven't won 3 matches in a series at home in at least last 10 years. Worst part - we have won 2 matches in any away series only once in last 10 years (except Bangladesh and Zimbabwe).

It will be interesting to see how Sehwag plays. Conditions should suit him more but the Aussies worked him over a bit in the previous series.

It's not about conditions but fitness. You can't do much if you are clearly unfit and can't even managed to stand in the ground for 6 hrs.
