Moman211 Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Mitchell johnson continues bowling the way hes been for the past 3 months and with the way India have been batting wouldnt surprise me to see him running through the Indian batting line up.... but he could bowl like he did in the ashes. Maybe Indian fans should sing this song everytime he comes to the crease it worked for England... so ya neva know:dance::dance: 3LE34IjoZBs&feature=related
Cricket Tragic Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Didn't work for them in Perth, did it? He is brilliant when he gets it right.
Moman211 Posted August 23, 2011 Author Posted August 23, 2011 Thats what i mean Id be watching the 1st session because that will tell you if hes in the mood or not and if he is.... i worry for the indian batsmen:nervous:
Cricket Tragic Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 It will be interesting to see how Sehwag plays. Conditions should suit him more but the Aussies worked him over a bit in the previous series.
fineleg Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 It will be interesting to see how Sehwag plays. Conditions should suit him more but the Aussies worked him over a bit in the previous series. He needs to be match fit. Hopefully BCCI can come up with a better fitness (and practice match/domestic 4-dayers etc) regimen worked out with Sehwag well before Aus series. We need VS in good form.
Cricket Tragic Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 The BCCI hasn't even released the dates of the series against WI. We don't know if the tests will be first. I hope that it is because we can rest the main players from the ODIs and send them early to Australia (pretty much what we did before the SA tour).
Andy Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 It will be interesting to see how Sehwag plays. Conditions should suit him more but the Aussies worked him over a bit in the previous series. Wide outside offstump, sehwag would try to Cut that and edge into keepers hand.
Trichromatic Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Mitchell Johnson will always win 1 match for his team. Opposition needs to care about rest of the matches.
ShebbySB Posted August 24, 2011 Posted August 24, 2011 If we can plan properly we will win the series downunder. We've lost a series after 2.5 years so it's not the end of the world.Besides conditions there is different,Sydney & Brisbane suits us,Perth is fast & bouncy but we won there last time.We need to play well in the 1st test in Melbourne that will set the tone for the rest of the series.

Yeah, he's done well against Australia in the past, but last year they definitely roughed him up with short pitched bowling and had plenty of success. On Australian pitches, they will target him with the short ball even more, so he's going to have to find a way to counter it.
vamos_rafa Posted August 24, 2011 Posted August 24, 2011 What are they chanting? It's not playing properly on my laptop.
rkt.india Posted August 24, 2011 Posted August 24, 2011 Have India already lost test series in Australia: Ian Chappel
Rahul Dravid Posted August 24, 2011 Posted August 24, 2011 Mitchell will be put to place by Rahul Dravid.
Cricket Tragic Posted August 24, 2011 Posted August 24, 2011 What are they chanting? It's not playing properly on my laptop. He bowls to the left He bowls to the right That Mitchell Johnson His bowling is shite
vamos_rafa Posted August 24, 2011 Posted August 24, 2011 He bowls to the left He bowls to the right That Mitchell Johnson His bowling is shite :hysterical:
Trichromatic Posted August 24, 2011 Posted August 24, 2011 Why there is no thread for WI series? IMO that's the most important series for trying youngsters, confidence building etc.
Sid Posted August 24, 2011 Posted August 24, 2011 India will be demolished in Aus as well,I m pretty sure .I like the Aussie pace attack ,just that the lack of spinner will help us provided our batsmen gets past their phasst bowlers :--D .

Australia lost 3 matches by inninggs to England. Australia is a rubbish team. I'm sure that Aussies and Indian teams are still same. :cantstop:

If you compare that performance to how England defeated Aussies in Ashes ,there is a big difference.Defeating Aussies by innings and some runs at their home thrice is a great achievement.
