maniac Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 You bolded Eoin Morgan, Ireland are without test status just like Zimbabwe were with Hick. The South Africans have tried to escape from a racist quota system which would have prevented them from reaching SA squad. As cricketers they have the right to maker their living. Now if you could somehow tell me why exactly Stokes should play for NZ rather than England? Agreed...All I am saying is England seems to be the haven for rejects due to which you cannot escape the ridicule when even countries like Zim,Bang have a supply of home-grown talent. No one questioned when someone like Murray Goodwin played for zim despite honing his skills in Zim or Neil Johnson moving back to SA.Hell when players like sajjad Mahmoodh,Naseer Hussain played for Eng noone raised an eyebrow but when England's problem areas in recent times like Wicketkeeping batsman:Prior....attacking ODI finisher:Morgan...Swashbuckling middleorder player:Pietersen..(these are just examples) conviniently get filled by overseas players it raises an eyebrow

International cricket is all about patriotism and playing for motherland ,its not about going to a country which offer you best facilities, money O/W what is difference between Internatiional cricket and club level cricket?
