In the run up to the summer I joined this board for some banter as the tests progressed. I was immediately told that England would get thrashed by the best team in the world. Well we all know how that went 4-0 to England. Then I was told, even though I have little interest in the one day game that England would get thrashed in the one day series. Well I have watched each of the highlights and it appears that we beat you 3-0 So now I expect all you Indian fans will now tell me that you will thrash us in India. To you I say the following: Having got it so badly wrong twice now, do you not think it might be a good idea to admit that england were the better side in both formats (Surprising in the one day) and accept that the games in India might be a whole lot closer than you would like to think?:winky:

Hi Wooggy its still 5-0 to India in india :two_thumbs_up:
I just love you Indian optimists. At the school my kids go to there is an family of Indian origin. At the start of the summer the father and I talked, he was very bullish about your chances. I saw him yeserday he almost ran in the opposite direction:hysterical:

It will be 50-50 in India .There won't be any rain during that season (except for due factor ).So ,we expect teams to play full quota of overs .

Wobblyman...don't sweat. Teams win and teams lose....fans are left to bear the brunt of their team's fortunes. Believe me.....half a decade back or so, a lot of folks were convinced Cricket will be dead in its motherland. But see, the Empire has risen and struck back. Same will happen to every other team that is facing a slump...not to worry....when England comes to India, we shall see who stands where. And again, irrespective of who wins or loses, both are decent sides with England in ascendancy and India in decay. Time will tell if the teams continue with this trend or manage to overturn their respective fortunes. Have some fun read too.....we are jolly good chaps at self deprecating humor:--D http://www.thecricketist.com/2011/09/don-donkey-complains-to-nasser-hussain.html
