TheYuvi02 Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 He was out of the England odi tour because of concussion and vision problems but right now I see he is playing in Champions league, must be some kind of magic that makes sure players like Harbhajan and Gambhir recover magically before IPL and Champions league :giggle:
Dravid Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 i knw, wtf is that seems he missed the qualifier just to take less heat for this...
saneindian Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 Sachin in the MI dugout yesterday, GG back for KKR today..its time we stopped blaming BCCI for players in IPL and CL. Its these players who on their own take these deicisons. God forbid if they suffer an injury in the future (GG has had far too many injuries), dont think they will get any sympathies at all. I lost some respect for GG seeing him turn out for KKR.
Sachin=GOD Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 The lure of $$$ is too hard for players to ignore and therefore they are repeatedly taking chances with injuries and playing in this meaningless Tamasha. As Saneinidian said, if any of them get injured or aggravate some injury then the player will be the one who is responsible more than their IPL franchise or BCCI.

Champions league in 2 weeks pays more than 5 or 6 test matches so no wonder they are running after it while risking their position in Indian team.
TheYuvi02 Posted September 25, 2011 Author Posted September 25, 2011 If I say anything bad about Bcci or one of the maharathis I will be called a paki or a troll so I am not gonna say anything. But just wait and watch the same people who are jumping up and down about IPL and CL.. once the same thing happens in Australia like it did in England they are gonna jump on IPL as well.
achilles Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 On a different note, despite so much money and fame, this is what our players do. I completely sympathize with players from other countries that are not as fortunate as our boys.

No excuse for any Indian player to go after more money and risk injury, each of them are millionaires.
Number Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 So he had CL t20 in his blurred vision. If he is fit , then its okay. but , has BCCI physio given his fitness report stating he is fit to play ??
Ramzz Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 Knew he was going to be back for KKR. Why do you think BCCI does not want to do a review of the English tour? Because the review will say that excessive cricket and Injuries sustained in the IPL are to blame for lack of preparation and execution of plans on the English tour. The review will say that GG, Viru were injured during the WC and instead of recovering...played the IPL...this is the jest of it.

ganeshran Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 Ya Totally selfish player - :protest: N2paqvMRS_U
Blue Panther Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 Concussion can be treated very quickly. Unfair to call him a selfish player.
TheYuvi02 Posted September 25, 2011 Author Posted September 25, 2011 Ya Totally selfish player - :protest: N2paqvMRS_U His performance has nothing to do with what is being discussed here. Even players like Sehwag is a more consistent performer than Gambhir but both of their commitment is questioned because Sehwag ignored his injury and still played in IPL.
Pagalpanti Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 In fact its good he is playing. Tbh CLT20 isn't as heavy workload for players like IPL is, it would be good match practice for him ahead of England & WI series.
Pagalpanti Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 He is having a poor run also, since the final. So it wont hurt India if he sorts out his form in CLT20 and is fully fit and in-form during the international series. Some of you just need a reason to bash players. :finger:
