rkt.india Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 Those were effort short balls and a pacer need to ball short to push the batsman back and bowler does not become predictable in his length. On a track like this, a bowler need to vary his length so that batsman is always guessing and not coming on the front foot every time. He was moving the ball away from the batsmen on an unhelpful track. He hit the deck hard and moved the ball off the pitch at pace which always causes problems. I feel he should be selected for WI test series.
