Yes, his head falls across and quality bowlers can always utilize that. But there are very few good pacers in cricket now and once he settles down he can score big runs. Add to that he is a good player of spin bowling. If he was batting against strong bowling line-ups like Aussies of 2001-02/Waqar-Wasim/Donald-Pollock, then they would made him look like nothing in each and every inning of a series.

Anyways, it's the best era to be born as a batsman. But he is only 26. He has time to work hard and improve his technique. He will go a long way.

I'm sure he will surpass Tendulkar's tally of total runs and centuries, [b']he already is ahead if we compare him against Sachin at same age, same no. of matches. England plays alot of test cricket. He doesnt need to play till 40s. He has real chance in next 8yrs, maybe much early if he hit Dravid or Ponting like peak.

well played cook. he looked uncomfortable in the initial overs when we were pitching the ball up to him. but when we started bowling short at him especially ishant, he looked very solid. he will score somewhere between 230-260.

class player. and talking about his flaws, he seems to be a good student of the game and he is only going to improve. he is 26, atleast 10 more years left if he can keep fit. England have a great batting lineup, the emergence of Cook and Trott.. and the improvement in Strauss, Bell, and even Pieterson.. and then Morgan and the late order ... wow. just damn good lineup. this England team is one for the ages!
