Jersey #10 Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 Which pair would you have on your T20 side? I go for W+W
Sidhoni Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 Really tough to answer, but I have gone with W+W
bulbul Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 Tendulkar and Sehwag :) Sehwag fine for T20...but why tuk tuk with him :winky:
Shane Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 Sehwag fine for T20...but why tuk tuk with him :winky: You mean this guy? FX4sGWNkPBc
Number Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 Warner+Watson vs Arvind or Dilshan+Gayle vs cummins ... its easy.
thongale Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 Dilshan and Gayle. WW combination has not been as fluent against spin as against pace. Gayle kills pacemen, and Dilshan does the same for spinners. Gainst G & D, what ever bowling you use one of them will have a mighty go at them.
achilles Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 Both pairs have one player each performing exceptionally ordinarily. But I would like to go for Gayle and Dilly.
Jersey #10 Posted October 7, 2011 Author Posted October 7, 2011 Thanks OP For jinxing Partnership :yay: Are you still talking? The partnership doesn't have to work...one can do the job of two in either of the two pairs mentioned in the OP
Jersey #10 Posted October 7, 2011 Author Posted October 7, 2011 Warner+Watson vs Arvind or Dilshan+Gayle vs cummins ... its easy. good call :hatsoff:
bulbul Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 Are you still talking? The partnership doesn't have to work...one can do the job of two in either of the two pairs mentioned in the OP lol i am completely active Match Thread unlike you... you opened a thread about Partnership..ist a BIG Fail...:hysterical: add to your logic Gayle played one match winning knock while Dilshan played in one match..Dilshan bolwed very well today.. Watson failed in all matches... try to watch atches and then open threads
SachDan Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 Are you still talking? The partnership doesn't have to work...one can do the job of two in either of the two pairs mentioned in the OP :cantstop: Then change thread title to Watson v Warner v Gayle v Dilshan :)
bulbul Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 :cantstop: Then change thread title to Watson v Warner v Gayle v Dilshan :) he can even add aginst Arvind,Malinga,Cummins,Badree (not Lehal duo)
Jersey #10 Posted October 7, 2011 Author Posted October 7, 2011 lol i am completely active Match Thread unlike you... I don't know what you mean by that but I'll let it pass...don't really care you opened a thread about Partnership..ist a BIG Fail...:hysterical: add to your logic Gayle played one match winning knock while Dilshan played in one match..Dilshan bolwed very well today.. Watson failed in all matches... try to watch atches and then open threads It's not about partnerships! It's about which pair of openers would you have? It's from a team's stand point not a partnership. hmmm how should i put it for you to make it easier to understand? ok, Forget this match You have a pair of players A and B while you have another pair of players X and Y. Your team is calld "DUMB". Now how would you measure the imporance of A+B vs the imporance of X+Y in team "DUMB" Let's say A = 10 runs, B = 30 runs, X = 5 runs, Y =40 runs A+B = 40 X+Y = 45 from this you know that A + B might be a little bit more reliable than X+Y. Again, it's not about how many runs they made together but which pair is more reliable to the team that even one of the players fail, the other one can pull it off.
Jersey #10 Posted October 7, 2011 Author Posted October 7, 2011 :cantstop: Then change thread title to Watson v Warner v Gayle v Dilshan :) I didn't say Watson + Warner vs Gayle + Dilshan I, very cleverly used "or"
