Jersey #10 Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 England was the team that visited India right after 26/11. :hatsoff:
Trundler27 Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 England was the team that visited India right after 26/11. :hatsoff: I think we returned the favour by playing through a series in england while there were ridiculous riots happening all over the country.
Yoda-esque Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 ^Yeah, but the riots had not started there, had they ? Besides, Rioteers there get free KFC , a nap and drinks so I doubt they were serious about their "rioting"
jairamesh Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 definitely in the "returned the favor" camp, the Edgbaston test was being played with backdrops of smoke and heavy rioting, it played on poor Sehwag's conscience.

Pagalpanti Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Well we just hate the Saffers who play for England. :hehe:
Tiger80 Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 England was the team that visited India right after 26/11. :hatsoff: Paani mein rahkar magarmachch se bair? do you think England would have toured India in 70s or 80s if it there was major terrorist strike like 26/11.Just thank power of BCCI .Even the players know that IPL is lucrative option for them .I don't think the same England team would have even visited Bangladesh if some firecrackers were bursted in front of their hotels
Dhoni_fan Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 To be fair England went home because they were losing 5-0 and heading for 7-0 lets make no bones about it.
Sundar88 Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 I hate England, Australia and South Africa in that order. I hate it when India loses to any of these teams, I don't mind losing to Pakistan, Sri Lanka or Bangladesh at all because I consider them Indians too. I particularly hate losing to England because that gives them the opportunity to open their loudmouths.

Sundar88 Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 Righto! Almost same here...just can't digest a loss to fu The main reason why I hate losing to England is because they're a bunch of loudmouths who simply won't shut up. If you lose to them in their country they'll gloat about how they beat you easily, if you beat them in your country they accuse you of doctoring pitches and being bullies at home without realizing the fact that this works both ways. The teams I support if India isn't playing/has been eliminated are Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh, West Indies and New Zealand in that order. I like the Sri Lankan team but I don't like Sri Lankan fans, they also constantly whine about India/BCCI being bullies. I also used to like the Pakistan team until the 2003 world cup after which my favourite players like Wasim, Waqar and Saeed Anwar retired so I stopped following Pakistan. I don't even know the names of any current Pakistani cricketers now, other than Afridi and Kamran Akmal, both of whom I dislike.
