Yeah varun will play, he will play because he has been denied a chancce for the last 8 games. Thats how things work in indian cricket. Play them based on seniority. Varun will play i guess. Good for us.

Varun should go all out in pace rather than thinking of line and length which is not his forte. Just pace and attack the stumps, but I dont see him playing, rather Rahul Sharma, Aravind, and Mithun have more chances of making eleven. Mumbai track will certainly have some bounce. I don't buy the reports of track being slow turner. It is ODI, not test. We did not see any slow turner in Delhi and Mohali, so whats is special in Mumbai.

Mumbai usually has an excellent test wicket - bounce, seam movement in the first session and turn later on in the match. Red soil in Mumbai makes a difference. Look at the number of times teams have got knocked over for cheap scores in the 1st dig (India-Eng in 1980 and 1981, 1988 vs NZ was a brilliant low scoring test, 2000 vs SA, 2004 vs Aus). Reg the team for the Mumbai ODI, I think Aaron will play - one phhhassst demon replacing another.

Doubtful, but he should play.
