deathmonger Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 Gul has an average of 33 btw your spearhead Ishant has an average of 35 .... PAkistan heading that way??? After spot fixing our team has progressed in right direction ..... Teams do pass through such stages but our performance has been satisfactory even in that phase We produced Amir who was a genuine talent just recently. Then Wahab who has great potential and now Junaid he looks a decent bowler Ishant isn't our spearhead. Zaheer is. And we never claimed to be bowling powerhouse. We are batting powerhouse. We have 4 batsmen with 50+ avg in our team. Amir is in jail. Wahab is under investigation. Wake up, dream's over.
Hur Rizvi Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 So, you are also suggesting it is none of our business that you want to play India in India? :haha::haha:  You were saying we should not play in UAE as our home now you have diverted it to India??? great :haha:
deathmonger Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 looky here indians why try to produce phaast bowlers when you are much better suited for slow bowlers ' date=' look how nice and slow ashwin is ,got Man of the match , leave fast bowling to paksitan.[/quote'] What can we do when your phaaast bowlers are slower than our slow bowlers? If we try to go any slower balls will not even reach the other end for 30 seconds (but still pakistani batsmen will go out to such deliveries).
deathmonger Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 Razzaq might be a desi guy but certainly more good looking than yuvi :haha: :haha: and you havent seen our Rana NAved after hair transplant :hysterical::hysterical: Razzaq with dead eyes is good looking :omg: Even after hair transplant, Pathan is better looking.
Number Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 yuvraj ---------------- razzaq kohli --------------- umar akmal (so ugly and kohli's a better bat too) irfan pathan --------------- rana naved :haha: and they will not go to jail.
ganeshran Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 MultiB48 and DM - quit trolling and stick to the topic

Obviously amir is no more there but my point was that talent is still coming Wahab is under investigation hasnt been convicted of anything ...
Hur Rizvi Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 Razzaq with dead eyes is good looking :omg: Even after hair transplant, Pathan is better looking. Those are deep eyes....... :hysterical::hysterical:
Sachin=GOD Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 Guys seriously, whats the need to derail every single thread with absolute rubbish like this :wall: :wall:

Most mediocre bowlers remain mediocre. Only Anderson and Zaheer are ones who have managed a late career revival. No matter how much talent is there, there won't be anyone as good as Amir.

Not much improvement is required Zaheer averages nearly 32 (31.78 to be precise) Gul's average is 33.38 Difference is only 1.60 .... If he only improves a little bit he can get his average better by 2 runs Gul already has better stats in ODIs and T20s compared to zaheer

If he only improves a little bit he can get his average better by 2 runs zaheer took it from 36 something. and then again you can't compare bowling line ups with us cause we've got all that batting. in the 90s the only reason you won was cause you had 3-4 bowlers with below 30 avg. thus then you had bowler related victories. now your attack is decent but nothing special. even after two W's retirement you stayed competitive as you had Inzy/YK/MoYo in the middle order but now that two of them are gone the chickens have come home to roost.
deathmonger Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 Same was said about Fazal,Sarfaraz,Khan Muhammad,Imran Khan,Wasim,Waqar.... but talent keeps coming... Khan Mohamad, Fazal can't be considerd. They played too less matches. Sarfaraz is not a legend in any case. Mediocre bowler with avg of 32. The only 3 great bowlers you had were Imran,Wasim and Waqar. And after their retirement no one has really come except the tainted two. Other fast bowlers - Tanvir,Rana,Anjum,Sami etc are as bad as the long line of mediocre bowlers we have produced.

Gul,Junaid, cheema are quite decent might not be spectacular but are doing a good job for now... Era of 90's is gone no team in the world has bowlers of that sort only steyn has average in the 20s We are an improving team currently obviously not top class yet but talent is there in PAkistan to produce another fearsome fast bowler.... There are few who are performing tremendously in domestic cricket who will get chance in future.....

Fazal has 139 test wickets he is a proven legend he played in era where there wasnt much cricket..... Going by that definition Even LAla amrnath and Muhammad nisar arent legends

Going by that definition Even LAla amrnath and Muhammad nisar arent legends Where did I say Zaheer is an all time great? He was a very mediocre bowler with an avg of 36 before comeback. After that avgs 26 or 27 something. Therefore his overall avg is in early 30s. We have never produced an ATG fast bowler just like you have never produced an ATG spinner or ATG batsman. Yeah, Lala Amarnath is not a legend due to his cricketing abilities. He's remembered for fathering Indian cricket by being manager, selector etc. Muhammad Nissar is not a legend either. HE only played 5-6 matches. I was just quoting his name as troll bait.

Obviosly sarfaraz is not an al time great but a pakistani legend who has won matches for Pakistan same is the case wid zaheer but fazal is definitely a great fast bo9wler 139 wkts in that era for a newly born nation is a great task .... plus fazal was the real inspiration to likes of imran, waz, and waqar
JeffThommo_fan Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 Honestly being an Indian and a Cricket fan, I feel India vs Pakistan series should happen. It used to be a very huge event and ultimately the game of Cricket is going to benefit out of it. And frankly, it is getting political that they have still cut off the ties with Pakistan only in Cricket. I mean, we are playing Hockey with Pakistan, and their team is here in Punjab for the Kabaddi WC near my home. They were here during the CWG and Cricket WC. So, why cricketing ties are cut-off? I feel now its the high time to start our Cricketing ties with them. Bcoz ultimately its the cricket that suffers. We want cricket again to become the first choice in WI, New Zealand and Pakistan
