It used to be a very huge event and ultimately the game of Cricket is going to benefit out of it. And frankly, it is getting political that they have still cut off the ties with Pakistan only in Cricket. I mean, we are playing Hockey with Pakistan, and their team is here in Punjab for the Kabaddi WC near my home. They were here during the CWG and Cricket WC. So, why cricketing ties are cut-off? I feel now its the high time to start our Cricketing ties with them. Bcoz ultimately its the cricket that suffers. We want cricket again to become the first choice in WI, New Zealand and Pakistan Most of the recent Ind-Pak matches (in the 4 series) were bores. Isn't it better to play once a year in Asia Cup/World Cup etc. Loads of hype, trash talking from both sides etc etc. When we used to play each year it was boring and had lost relevance. I didn't even know that the 2007 series had taken place until recently.

But if series happens now it will be intresting like 99 series in India and 2004 series in PAkistan because of a big gap in series.....

But if series happens now it will be intresting like 99 series in India and 2004 series in PAkistan because of a big gap in series..... normal series will never happen. it will be a) no playing due to political reasons - 92-96, 99-2003, 2008-now b) overload of matches due to goody goody feeling and search for high TRPs - 96-99, 2004-2007 i would rather play once a year and have a good anticipated contest then play every other month (which is what the boards will do if they agree). asia cup 2008, mohali semi final so much anticipated. earlier it was like "ok, we lost this series. there's a new one in a few days"

Like other teams tour india in FTP Pakistan should also tour may be once in every two years but both teams should play Test series these one-off ODI's are not enuff

If you dont want to play BCCI should be straight forward and say we have cut cricketing ties with Pakistan and wont play pakistan anywhere in any tournament otherwise you should play againstPAkistan in test matches

BeautifulGame Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 2003-04 test series vs Pakistan was brilliant.Lot of hype and the series lived up to its billing Its the 2006 (in pakistan ) and 2007 (in India) that were boring.Road pitches quality batsmen against average attacks and defensive captaincy (Kumble in Bangalore ) made it really boring. I would rather play Pakistan than touring sri lanka every other month.

We never invite your singers to sing in our films and in our domestic circuit. Its called an "opportunity" and in this great country of mine, we provide everyone an opportunity to live their dreams. Even if a Pakistani wants to make a career in India, we have never stopped them to. Infact, we try our best to keep them happy, unlike the thankless Afretard. You said PAkistanis are "KILLERS" so why are you providing oppurtunity to them they are KILLERS according to you They were World T20 champs when no one bought them in auction so we dont really care if you dont select our players in IPL as long as they keep performing in T20 WCs No thanks we dont need your sympathy keep it to yourself

Not that i agree with any of these bans and not playing Pakistan but comparing these two and saying we are hypocrites is nonsense. No one here looks here Aleem Dar as symbol of Pakistan Nation unlike Pakistan cricket team.
