Ū grew up hating India because I grew up in Lahore and there was so much...the massacres of 1947, so much bloodshed and anger. Å£ut as I started touring India, I got such love and friendship there that all this disappeared, Imran he told an Indian TV channel in an interview. Å¢s time passed, I realised that thereÃÔ so much... we have a similar history, thereÃÔ so much in culture thatÃÔ so similar compared to Western countries. ŵhereÃÔ so much we have in common and above all, there is so much the people of the two countries (can) benefit from if we have a civilised relationship, he added. Imran said if his Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf party came to power in the next general election, he would do his utmost to improve relations between the two countries. Ū can give my best shot. I can fight to the last ball. We can only try. Success is sometimes not in our hands, it is in the hands of the almighty. So I can say that I will give it my best shot, he said. Imran said he prayed to God to allow him to work for better India-Pakistan relations ÅÃecause I, for one, have received so much love in India? Asked if this vision would guide the relationship with India, he said, Å¢bsolutely, I have no prejudice against any country, and more specifically, India. Referring to the Indian cricket teamÃÔ tour of Pakistan in 2005-06, Khan said: ŪÃÅ never seen two countries as close as that. So itÃÔ very said that Mumbai happens (and) we were back to square one?

Not that in India, it was all about love for Pakistan but relatively on smaller scale. The problem with Pakistani politicians is that even if they honestly want to improve bilateral relationship, they don't seem to have power to do it ( ARMY and ISI ??). Running anti India agenda provides a safe platform to stay in power and distract public from major governance issue......so lets wait and watch Mr. Imran Khan, if he becomes Pakistan's next premier.

Visit YouTube comments section or any other forum with relax moderation to find out there are lunatics on both sides and it's widespread on both sides. Look at some posters on this forum who are full of hate for Pakistan and same goes for the other forum. Coming to personal experiences in Pakistan it varies from area to area. I grew up in Pakistani Kashmir and can safely say despite being directly implicated in Kashmir issue there is no widespread hatred locally as ppl are more worried about there daily lives and problems. In Punjab there is a strong anti India sentiment that probably stems from bloodshed during partition.

He would tell me how the sikh warriors gave their turbans to the bangladesh women when they found them half naked, raped by pakistani soldiers. We are always magananimous even in wars. We never crossed the LOC, but pakis still send infiltrators to kashmir to create ruckus and chaos. I would say the 93,000 paki soldiers surrendering to indian army must have been the most proudest and greatest victory indian military history. The victory gave a new life to indira gandhi, She was celeberated as goddess durga matha by indians after defeating pakistan. We got so much history, it can't be, it won't be forgotten easily.

When you have close family living on the other side and know ppl personally who have suffered then you don't need biased media feed you. Pakistan army and establishment have done so much damage to us that we wont recover from it for a long time. What happened with kashmiri pundits has put us to shame. But India is not innocent in all this as they could have handled things differently.

Everyone has *******s, Indian army also has its share, just that proportionately Pak has been having more than it could handle. btw, in both cases, there is a possibility that the miscreants are one of your own and just pretend to come from other side to generate hate.
