Donny Posted July 8, 2007 Posted July 8, 2007 Durham not doing so well in the latest round of CC. After electing to bat, they are 8/151 at lunch. Part of that strange score is Philip Mustard being 60 n.o. from 58 balls. Aussie Matt Nicholson has 3/19 and Harbhajan Singh, 2/31.
Donny Posted July 21, 2007 Author Posted July 21, 2007 3/34 from 20 overs against Yorkshire yesterday.
Ram Posted July 21, 2007 Posted July 21, 2007 Doubt he would have played the match even if was in the squad. Cant imagine two spinners playing in England.
Donny Posted July 21, 2007 Author Posted July 21, 2007 This is about Bhajji playing for Surrey, not India.
gator Posted July 21, 2007 Posted July 21, 2007 Bajji clearly has not improved... 2-3 wickets against county team which can hardly negotiate good spin means he still has a loooong way to go.... even Saqlain with one leg and Mushtaq who is living on retirment pension are picking more wickets on the county circuit....
Donny Posted July 21, 2007 Author Posted July 21, 2007 But ..................... one of Bhajji's victims scored an undefeated double century in his most recent Test innings.
King Tendulkar Posted July 21, 2007 Posted July 21, 2007 Bajji clearly has not improved... 2-3 wickets against county team which can hardly negotiate good spin means he still has a loooong way to go.... even Saqlain with one leg and Mushtaq who is living on retirment pension are picking more wickets on the county circuit.... Fack me give him a chance its only his first game
Donny Posted July 27, 2007 Author Posted July 27, 2007 3/45 from 20 overs against Worcester in their 7/148. Scored 14 in Surrey's 364.
Cricketics Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 bowling lot of overs.. nice.. though its pretty hard for him to get into the side..
Mr. Wicket Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 4/64 against Worcester, getting most of the top and middle order (except the magnificent Jaques who only got 3 somehow - must have been a bad umpiring decision).
King Tendulkar Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 Get bhaji or Chawala back in the squad for that whale Powar. Powar is an embarrasmet to the indian team
Chandan Posted July 28, 2007 Posted July 28, 2007 Bajji clearly has not improved... 2-3 wickets against county team which can hardly negotiate good spin means he still has a loooong way to go.... even Saqlain with one leg and Mushtaq who is living on retirment pension are picking more wickets on the county circuit.... Well, I think you have too high expectations from every player, Gator. All of us are seeing what a soogy summer it has been in England where pitches and conditions are favouring seam and swing bowling. In such conditions to want a spinner to take a bucketful wickets!!

Donny Posted July 28, 2007 Author Posted July 28, 2007 Bhajji has both wickets to fall in the second innings. 2/38 from 18 overs.
Mr. Wicket Posted July 28, 2007 Posted July 28, 2007 He's taken four now, the only wickets to fall to Surrey so far this innings with Worcs 239/4. Only Phil Jaques has handled him.
Donny Posted July 28, 2007 Author Posted July 28, 2007 Jaques out for 103. His 30th. first class century. Bhajji took the wicket and has 5/61.
