Look at Yuvraj....when he is not in Indian team...he is injured. Why cant he go & play Indian domestic cricket. Other examples can be put forward also. Manjrekar use Bhajji as an example...but bottom line is....BCCI needs to do much better in this area...so as to make sure that...what ever team is selected have fit players from start atleast

Yuvraj on the other hand has actually got injured at wrong times allowing likes of Raina to get in ahead of him.

Ram Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 This is very disappointing, even bordering on criminal. Which ever way you look at it, it doesnt look for Bhajji. He could deliberately delayed the scan till the squad for the Aussie tour was announced as a negative outcome could have impacted his selection. Or, having known that he was no longer going to Australia, he could have possibly exaggerated a minor injury to escape his punjab ranji duties. Irrespective, it is very disturbing that an India cricketer, especially such a senior figure like Bhajji, could be have done that.

Do you have evidence to show that his doctors are making up diagnoses for him? If you don't, on what basis do you make such a claim? A remarkable amount seems to be suggested about Harbhajan Singh simply because people don't like him. Its one thing to think he's a bad bowler, its another to think he's a cheat (which, if one doesn't mince words, is what you guys are accusing him of doing)? If you think it is Ok to accuse someone of being a cheat without having to provide any proof, would you be Ok if someone did that to you?

They let this turd believe that he'd be picked for the tour of Australia and let him stay injured a little longer. Now this dimwit has to go through a lengthy recovery process and then bribe some domestic batsmen to stop b.itch slapping his "baseball pitch" of a bowling and in the process continue his speeches on aggression, bravado, his 400 wickets et al, hoping that all the "good will" he has built sucking up to his illustrious team mates pays dividends. I am pretty sure all this will take this door-knob at least six more months. In the mean time, thanks BCCI for rescuing our cricket!

What he is saying is that players nowadays, hide their injuries while selection are going on. Will reply to your original article in a while

Bhajji has a legion of faithful followers here, including yours truly. But its impossible to look at what happened and go 'That doesnt sound right..' The timing of his scan on his shin, literally hours after the decision to leave him out of the aussie touring party, definitely raises a lot of eyebrows.

", Punjab's coach Vikram Rathore knew after the Saurashtra game that Harbhajan Singh had a problem. I have no problem with people actually investigating things. But if they don't want to do the work, or don't (for whatever reason) want to show their work, then should they insinuate? Basically, they are telling the reader to believe them, that someone else is not a reliable guy. Why should anybody believe what Manjrekar says, especially when there is evidence to the contrary?

Manju should have come out straight and said "bhajji feigning injury to preserve status as India No. 1 spinner hence securing future lucrative IPL contract and TV ad income".

This is not an isolated incidence and this is not just with Bhajji we have seen Injuries being conveniently hidden whenever it suits a particular player. Sehwag and Viru played IPL inspite of the injuries they were carrying and India had to suffer because of that big time in England. What Manjrekar is saying seems to sound true to a lot of people because of this kind of track record of some of our stars. Finally Bhajji may be genuine but given the timing here and history i am quite convinced by Sanju's article here
