Old guy Posted December 9, 2011 Share Posted December 9, 2011 Ishant too will be better in aus than in england the pitches suit his type of bowling. not really englsh conditions were bowler friendly there is no type there was natural movement for pk all the time and ishant still wasnt bowling well but im hopeful cos he bowled well in spells even there and he just looked in better rhythm in windies series so australia would be big for him if he performs his career would turn and will give him lots of confidence if he fails then we lose and he becomes another unfulfilled potential losing aaron isnt that big of thing that we wil lose series cos of it he was never going to be in team for first 2 matches and after that he is very inexperienced i dont expect him to perform on go he would gradually improve but right now is he really that important to team? if he was so important why wasnt he sent to australia along with yadav ? so dont lose hopes yes reserves are hopeless but like i said if some one gets injured ... they will send replacement and i dont think visa would trouble this time around LOL Link to comment

Anyone can get injured. Its about these two trundler Jokers who got selected. They don't even deserve to be in the scheme of things as far as Tests are concerned. Exactly the kind we need in Australia. He was very young when he first played in Aus. That entire series was bit of a bat fest even thought it finished 2-1 I watched the Nz v Aus game highlights today and Pattinson another hit the length hard bowler is thriving. Ishant now has some experience and it part of the forward party. IMO he is much better placed. Not to mention that the Aussie top order looks inexperienced and Hughes looks like a walking wicket at this moment. Link to comment

Now we know why MSD wasn't letting him bowl more than 3-4 overs in a spell, despite all that, he has broken down. Is there any clarity on the kind of injury he has and for how long he is out? Also, if the BCCI and the team management has had any lessons from the Eng tour, they better take 3-4 additional bowlers with the touring squad. Else this will be as disastrous as England. Also you can try to Manage one bowler in a match...you cant have 2 delicate bowlers and giving them short spells, enough breaks etc...no country will do that...just becuase you bowl fast doessnt mean you get xtra benefits...aldo these guys are not 150+ guys to make Batsmen shiover by pace alone.. Vinay is not in frame for test cricket before.. selectors also fell for pace Hype :winky: excpet for his speed he didnt done much against mediocre WI team i am not telling speed is bad...just telling you cant take bowlers just becuase they bowl speed but cant last a test match...
