saneindian Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 CA Chairman's XI squad (December 15-16) Ed Cowan (capt), Wes Robinson, Joe Burns, Tom Cooper, Alex Doolan, Glenn Maxwell, Tim Ludeman (wk), Joe Mennie, Jake Haberfield, Josh Lalor, Peter George, Dean Solway. CA Chairman's XI squad (December 19-21) David Warner (capt), Phillip Hughes, Shaun Marsh, Usman Khawaja, Tom Cooper, Alex Doolan, Tim Ludeman (wk), Trent Copeland, Cameron Boyce, Josh Lalor, Doug Bollinger, Peter George. The squad for the 2nd practice match looks far more stronger. Hope our team takes these practice matches seriously unlike what they did in England.
bulbul Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 Most interesting is Doug Bollinger... i think based on fitness he will be in consideration.. If they able to get the bowling Attack of Pattinson , Harris/Bollinger , Siddle...it will be very competetive
Manny_Pacquiao Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 Good to see butler George back in contention
cowboysfan Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 its interesting to see bollinger in there, some aussie posted here saying that he will not play a test again.
Sid Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 2nd team is pretty decent, will give us a good competition.
Needforspeed Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 Yeah, better than the warm up games we gave to the English (Hyderabad). Any idea how the pitch in Canberra plays?
Magneto Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 Hope they let Phil Hughes score centuries in each innings so that he is retained in the series throughout
Sachin=GOD Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 Hope they let Phil Hughes score centuries in each innings so that he is retained in the series throughout seeing our current bowling "strength" we cannot take the risk of helping any opposition batsman get into good form.
Magneto Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 Phil is always in good form. He just tries to be over cocky, and gets out.
Sid Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 bollinger there :yioyo: Saar Jaan who are you supporting this series :nervous:
Sachin=GOD Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 Saar Jaan who are you supporting this series :nervous: umpires
Trundler27 Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 the bigger question is: Can we possibly lose a game in 3 days? I'd like us to go into the boxing day game at 0-0 :cantstop: these 2 games will be absolutely vital for our batters. that we bat first on both occassions. Furthermore, dhoni should not give more than 5-6 overs to Zak if he plays either game ;) coz we can unleash V Ko-maar and Mithooon upon warner and co.
Old guy Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 just for fun i will support australia this series lmfao sir john ke kadmo pe chalo :P
carnish Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 Terrific side for the 2nd warm-up game... i hope bollinger performs well and gets into the test side and i hope our batters don't fail... really we can only be saved by our batters now that there is no Aaron and Vinay and Mithun have got their visas stamped by srikkanth
