You are a disgrace to cricket and to India. No doubt he only got to be an international umpire through bribery and corruption. He stank the place out today. :finger:

he should umpire in an ind pak match where we win due to crap decisions by him just to piss off pakis.
why should we want to win against Pak by poor umpire decision...no need of that we can beatthem comfortably.. i guess DRS has to be implemented...even a DRS with problems better than these kind of umpires

DRS needs to be implemented - no hawkeye or Hotspot if that is the matter of contention. Just use replays and eliminate obvious howlers
if both Hawkeye and Hotspot not there no use of DRS

not really.. you can eliminate most howlers with simple replays and pitch mats. The contentious decisions stay contentious despite Hawkeye - which has been proved to be wrong in the past (Hughes case) The purpose of DRS is to eliminate really poor decisions. I am willing to trust the umpire on marginal calls.

When Pollard hit that 4 which was initially given 6, my mom asked why they check replay for so long for 2 extra runs when they can't use it to eliminate obvious dismissal decision. In both cases umpire had already given his decision earlier. :cantstop:

thats not easy... who knows what kind questions come about Pitch maps...when we are going to implement DRS it has to be with all technology...

I would love to read what captains says about such umpires in their reports during our domestic matches. Disgraceful, incompetent and blind. And then when we hear BCCI talk about preferring field umpires overs DRS, makes it cringe worthy.

Read Akash Chopra's 'Beyond the Blues' to see what first class cricketers think about domestic umpires :giggle:

I think he is the same umpire who got the abuses from Kohli ,he deserved some from Windies batsmen today.Absolutely incompetent umpire.

why cant we have even 1 decent umpire from India? not asking for Tauffel' date=' just someone who isnt an absolute disgrace.[/quote'] That's more difficult to get than an express pace bowler.
