Manny_Pacquiao Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 :omg::omg: the indian cheats have lured ross taylor into their web of corruption. mashallah. http://www.radiosport.co.nz/news/spcri/2062927514-Taylor-questions-DRS-system India looks to have some support in its distrust in the technology used by the decision review system. Black Caps captain Ross Taylor has expressed some reservations in the system following New Zealand's dramatic second test win over Australia in Hobart. Taylor says he's not 100 per cent sure the DRS should be in place. He says there's an element of technology that should be used, but he's not convinced it's right. Taylor says there seems to be a guessing element in the technology. The DRS won't be in place for Australia's upcoming home series against India as the Indians are against its use. oh nooo, what are we gonna do now?? :nervous::nervous::nervous:
Malcolm Merlyn Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 Evil BCCI.The forces of good PCB and CA will defeat them.
ganeshran Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 He is just saying that because of the IPL contract. :headshake: How can anyone who isnt a BCCI stuge have genuine reservations against technology used in DRS :omg:
Rajiv Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 Aussies or ROW says they will take it even it's 90% but then what about the decisions which are genuinely OUT and hot spot missed it? I haven't got details of Hawk-Eye tech but is on the basis of slow-mo raw vid vs animation/guesstimate and then compare the difference?

MCcricket Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 Aussies or ROW says they will take it even it's 90% but then what about the decisions which are genuinely OUT and hot spot missed it? I haven't got details of Hawk-Eye tech but is on the basis of slow-mo raw vid vs animation/guesstimate and then compare the difference? I am not for DRS AND TECHNOLOGY IN THE FORM CURRENTLY BEING USED, IT IS LIKE A GLASS HALF FULL OR EMPTY BOTH SIDES ARE ANGRY ALSO I PREDICTED BEFORE THE TOUR THAT THE AUSSIES WILL CREATE A PROBLEM WITH DRS ALTHOUGH LAST TIME THEY WON BCOZ OF UMPIRES LOL AGAINST INDIANS, hot spots doesn't always pickup edges that becomes an issue when the poms said we used vaseline on our bats, also ball tracker is the worst technology, I believe, hot spot, snicko, slow mo should be used as an umpiring tool , not as a definitive option where a playing side wants a referral and there is a limit to it, I believe technology can be used but the umpire in the middle should be using it as an aid not the third umpires making a call, if a batsmen has nicked a ball and umpire heard it, but snicko doesn't pick it, then the batsmen should be given out by onfield umpire, also the ball tracker for lbw should be used as an aid to find the ball pitched within the stumps and what length but not predicting the decisions by itself.
MCcricket Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 tbolYMnKsh8&feature=related That was out, we were cheated of a series victory last time around in OZ same as NZ team was under Fleming, DRS in its present form and the way it operates is useless and stupid and enormously expensive , IT IS A WHINNING TOOL FOR POMS AND KANGAROOS, I knew they would whine about it , lol, what about 2 decisions with Zaheer bowling, their behaviour will get worse as series progresses and if they loose test's.:whack:
peterparker Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 even today cowan's dismissal..hawk eye showed ball going over the off stump where as the deviation in real time was towards leg n middle
